A Prayer Walking Vision
A praying friend wrote … “one of those near sleepless nights had me thinking of ‘stuff’ and this came to me:
My prayer walk prayer for every block I walk: Lord…From the beginning of time people had doors to their homes. When someone knocked the door was opened or at least the response would be “Who is it?”. In Rev 3:20 Jesus you said “BEHOLD, I stand at door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me”. THANK YOU LORD. You want sooo much to have a relationship with us you will do that. I am reminded of John 21:1-14 when you were resurrected you actually COOKED breakfast for your disciples. You are so amazing!!! But Lord, I stand on this block of people and know many have not opened the door because the world is sooo noisy in their heads they can’t hear you knock. Forgive them Lord for they know not what they do. I pray the strongholds satan has over them would be broken in the name of Jesus, lies would be exposed and they would BEHOLD YOU.
Lord, I think of the beautiful sunset I saw the other day as I drove along – I saw it but I didn’t BEHOLD it. I am reminded, though, of other times I have seen a beautiful sunset and stopped and took it all in, the magnificent graduation of colors ranging from deep to light blue and deep to light orange. I BEHELD the sunset. It was so spectacular and I was a part of it and YOU immediately came to mind and I praised you from the bottom of my heart. You are the way, the truth and the life. There is no other. Lord I pray for the people on this block – they are held captive behind doors and cannot hear you knock. You said you “came to set the captives free”, come Lord Jesus even as you knocked Nebuchadnezzar off his throne and Saul off his ‘high’ horse – ALL things are possible for you. In your precious Name I pray. AMEN (and anything else the Spirit puts on my heart which I am sure He will 😊)
PS…I will pray a similar prayer before our city halls, police stations, firehalls, schools and SallyAnn (others?). I think it would be great if the Prayer RidgeMeadows Ministry put out a request, for as many believers as can make it, to gather together before these institutions for corporate prayer.”
