Plowing the Soil for a Greater Harvest!

Please join us for as much as you can:

1. Palm Sunday (April 2):

As the crowds in the streets welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem, singing “Hosanna to the Son of David, blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD” (Matt. 21:9), we can welcome Him spiritually in the streets of Ridge Meadows. Plan to walk around city hall, your local school or down the street on which you live, welcoming the King of Kings who died to love and rose to save our city!

2. Prayer Walking Seminar with Darryl Jones (April 22):

We hope to have video clips and discussion questions for your life group or prayer circle available soon. Please check back.

3. Preparing our Hearts and Congregations:

Never prayer walked before?  Need ideas for how to pray? Excellent resources here.
Announcements: Can you help encourage your congregation or fellowship circle to prayer walk also?
Preaching: Here is a series of messages preached in one congregation in our city inviting people to engage their neighbors with the love of Christ (link)
Music: Need a theme song? Let me tell you ’bout my Jesus, Anne Wilson www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-1971qLX-E

4. Prayer Walking our City June 4 – 17, 2023

Why? Because our Lord loves every person in our city and every person is worthy of our prayers.

How? Each of us can pray as we walk. Many of us already walk for exercise, we walk our pets, or walk our kids or grandkids to school. All we need to do is add focus, love and prayer.

Visit https://prayforridgemeadows.com to let us know the streets where you prayed. On the site you’ll find a visual map showing progress as we walk and pray.

One prayer-walker has shared her playlist as she worships as she prays.

Can pray for our whole city? Yes, all 700 streets; every home, every school and every business.

Plan to join us. It Takes the Whole Church to Love and Prayer Walk the Whole City
As you walk and pray ask the Lord to give you simple conversations, leading perhaps to the question, “is there a need in your life I could pray for?”

5. Celebrate and Develop Relationships

Postponed to Wednesday June 21 (7:00 pm) at Maple Ridge Alliance Church – come, share and celebrate what God has done!
